Near Metro 
This page takes a look at some of the important stations of Delhi Metro and the hotels nearby. The 8.5 kms section between Shahdara and Tis Hazari that was inaugurated on 24th December 2002 was the first section of Delhi Metro section to become operational. Again on 13TH November 2009 Metro crossed state boundaries to enter NOIDA. The 13.1 kilometre line between Delhi`s Yamuna Bank to Noida City Centre at Sector 32 is now fully operational.

Rajiv Chowk Metro Station: This is the underground photo of what is the central point of Delhi. I tried to capture the circular construction of the above-the-ground - and considered to be the central point of Delhi. The Metro Rail Station of Connaught Place, is called Rajiv Chowk named after Rajiv Gandhi. The underground Station is very busy as Connaught Place is an important commercial hub besides it has two lines namely the Dwarka-Noida and the C Sectt-Jahangir Puri section.

The Five star hotel Jaypee Sidharth and the multi-specialty hospital B L Kapur Hospital is also located nearby the metro station.

Metro Station of New Delhi Railway Station: The Metro links the New Delhi Railway station of Indian railways network as part of the C-Sectt- Jahangir Puri section. The underground Metro station is located on the Ajmeri Gate side of the entry/exit point of New Delhi Station.

Chandni Chowk Metro Station: he shopping area is much easier to reach on the Delhi Metro for a few rupees. Chandni Chowk metro station is in close proximity to the Old Delhi railway station of Indian railway network and is just north of the bazaar area. Thanks to Metro, footfalls have increased to the bustling but congested and ‘out of reach’ markets at Chandni Chowk. This underground Metro Station is also part of the C-Sectt- Jahangir Puri section of DMRC.

Kashmere Gate Metro Station: Kasmiri Gate Metro Station near Maharana Pratap ISBT operates at two levels. On the elevated section it is an important part of the Dilshad Garden-Rithala Section while in the underground level it falls on the Central Secretariat-Jahangir Puri Line.
