Red Fort: The Red Fort was built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. This grand fort is also known as the Lal Quila. Jama Masjid: Opposite to the Lal Qila stands Jama Masjid another magnificent creation of Badshah Shahjahan. Jama Masjid was completed in 1656 AD it is the largest Mosque in India and can accommodate 25000 Namazis. The foundation stone was laid in 1650 AD and cmpletedi in 1656 AD. Over 5,000 labourers were involved in the construction daily for a period of six years.

Humayun`s Tomb: The beautiful structure, containing Badshah Humayun’s Tomb is tucked away in New Delhi’s posh Nizammuddin area. Believed to be a trendsetter as a garden mausoleum in the whole of Indian subcontinent, this 16th century tomb of Mughal emperor Humayun now sports an array of dazzling light displays, landscaped lawns, clean fountains and also wheelchair ramps. It not only houses the remains of Humayun but also the remains of nearly a hundred members of the Mughal dynasty.
