Delhi`s Airports
Delhi’s Airport lies in West Delhi’s Palam Area. All the international flights are managed by the Indira Gandhi International Airport while all domestic flights are managed in the old Palam terminal known as Terminal 1. Apparently Delhi has got another airport in the heart of South Delhi near Delhi Hat it is known as the Safdarjung Airport. This Airport is now dysfunctional. The tragic plane crash on June 23, 1980, involving late Sanjay Gandhi had taken off from here only.
