South Delhi: By direction South Delhi is the area that lies south of India Gate. Perhaps it is the best area to live after Lutyen’s Delhi. Wide roads, network of flyovers, plush shopping centers, great restaurants, wide patches of greenery all mark this area. Some of the noticeable areas of South Delhi include INA market, South extension, Lajpat Nagar, Lodhi Gardens, Hauz Khas village etal. Tourist spots here include Tughlaqabad Fort, Safdarjang’s Tomb, monuments of Nizamuddin locality, Purana Qila, Qutub complex, LotusTemple, ISKCon Temple et al. It is bordered by the neighbouring state of Haryana.
